Our Corporate Social Responsibility is embodied in our firm commitment to society and the environment.
Grup Maculart moved our headquarters and production plant to Cerdanyola del Vallès in 2006 with a firm focus on growth, both in terms of production and in our business structure. Between 2012 and 2015 we experienced years of significant expansion and we acquired new premises until we reached 3,000 m2 of facilities and a staff of 50 employees, half of them from the Vallès region.
We are proud that our growth contributes to the progress of the commercial and social fabric of this area of the province of Barcelona. Promoting local employability has been one of our priorities since our inception because we believe in actively promoting the areas in which we operate.
This is just one example of Grup Maculart’s social commitment. Our commitment to innovation and excellence also contributes to positioning Cerdanyola del Vallès as a significant industrial hub, which has earned the recognition of the local authorities.
In addition, we collaborate with various social organisations, such as Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors without Borders and the Teléfono de la Esperanza helpline, as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility policy. Because we believe in adding value to society and contributing to a more ethical and socially responsible world.

At Grup Maculart we understand environmental commitment to be the natural harmony between efficiency and environmental protection. We are aware that industrial production has an impact on the planet and, at our plant in Cerdanyola del Vallès, we work responsibly to reduce our environmental impact as much as possible.
Our production system follows a rigorous recycling process to optimise use of all resources.
Our sustainability initiatives are accredited by the most demanding Spanish and European certifications in the market, such as ISO 14001-2015 and the Chain of Custody certification with the FSC seal.
As a milestone in our commitment to sustainability, we highlight the installation of 445 photovoltaic panels at our Cerdanyola plant in 2022 in a decisive step towards green energy. An action that allows us to reduce CO2 emissions by more than 114,200 kg/year, which is equivalent to the CO2 absorbed by 5,700 trees.
